PhilSports Arena (formerly Ultra)

The Passion World Tour finally touched down in Manila! Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin, and Kristian Stanfill ministered to thousands of young people at the PhilSports Arena. Shelly and i were part of the volunteers who were given the chance to serve to university students that night.

Along with several volunteers, we arrived at the venue at half past two in the afternoon. We were given instructions, assignments (posts), and shirts during the half hour orientation conducted by Beth Murray. It's good to finally associate a face behind a name. After exchanging all those emails, text messages, and calls, we finally get to see everyone in the flesh.

Digi Antonio and i were given the Lower Level Green area, next to the VIP room. Sorry guys, we were asked not to take pictures/videos during the event. Yeah, i know! Plus, it was a loooong and tiring night for all of us. Dinner was served close to 11:00pm, we got stuck in the rain, and we arrived home close to 1:00am. Ah, the downside of doing volunteer work. Boo!

Anyways, all things considered... it was an awesome night. The young people obviously enjoyed the event and it looks like the Passion team had a grand time, too!

Cool wrist-straps!
Did these have Passion KL printed at the back, too?

yup. all wrist bands used for the MLA tour were meant for Passion KL. that's why Louie Giglio and the team asked us to pray and support (by way of giving) for the KL tour.
